Hazel's Place School, Pakistan

Hazel’s Place was launched by Victory Children’s Homes in January 2022 as a lifeline for children trapped in Pakistan’s brick‑kiln industry, where boys and girls as young as five are forced to work from 5 a.m. until sunset shaping and carrying heavy bricks. With no access to education and no hope of escape, many of these children grow up illiterate and bound to the same cycle of exploitation as their parents. Hazel’s Place was created to break that cycle—offering these young labourers the chance to learn to read and write, discover their God‑given worth, and envision a future beyond the kiln yards.

Every week, the team gathers the children for a day of nourishment, care, and learning. They receive a nutritious meal, basic education, and the opportunity to hear about the love of Jesus—often for the first time. The heart of this ministry was to plant seeds of dignity, possibility, and faith in the hearts of kids who deserve far more than the life they were born into.

Supernaturally, the Lord lead me to reach out and trust Him to help me find a way to help these children. I was led to a Victory Pastors wife who also has a passion to help these children.

She also has 16 years experience as a teacher in Pakistan. Since that day Annie and I have worked together to start ‘Hazel’s Place’, a school to educate these children. We started with 70 children. We feed them and teach them and lead them to Jesus! We show them love and they have fun with us. God is so good! It does my heart good to see smiles on these children’s faces where before there was just hopelessness.

I dare say all this puts a smile on Jesus’ face too!
